Simple dogwood branch

This week's challenge at Less is More is to have some evidence of "masking" on your card. I stamped the dogwood branch, masked it and then stamped the wood grain background. Added some color, a gem and a sentiment and here's my card:
Items used: Memory Box dogwood branch, Hero Arts wood background and sentiment, gem, watercolor pencils.

This is lovely Lucille, there's not a lot of white space, but it's a super simple design.
I love the dogwood, it's the state flower of Va where I lived for a while in the 70's and I really have a soft spot for it!
Thanks so much for joining us

Lucille, this is so lovely. Your coloring on the magnolia is beautiful, and the woodgrain is the perfect background for it. Great job!
